Helping a local small business owner deal with social media stress
Cocoon&nous is a small business based in Orléans, France. They help women through motherhood. The owner, Muriel provides massage services for mothers–prenatal and postpartum–and their babies. She contacted me because she struggled to keep up with her Instagram account. Creating and planning her content was time-consuming. Consequently, she couldn't focus on her business. And, she just wanted better results.

Muriel contacted me because she struggled to keep up with her instagram account. Creating and planning her content was time-consuming. Consequently, she couldn't focus on her business. And, she just wanted better results.
In our first meeting, I asked her to describe her business and how her clients should perceive it. Muriel wanted her brand it to be soft, reassuring, trustworthy, kind and professional. So, I created the best imagery for Cocoon&nous that aligned with her clients' needs and wants.
Background

I built a distinctive color palette around the pink in her logo to enhance brand awareness. All my designs use smooth curves and circles to inspire trust and peacefulness, coherent with Muriel's vision. Finally, the friendly icons are found in the posts and the communication collaterals I designed.

Muriel was thrilled with the work accomplished. She always struggled to find the right colors and fonts to use, but now a system is in place. She can edit text, change icons, and finally bring her full attention to her clients, who were also delighted with the stationary. Many of her sales come through the gift cards that I designed!

A part from the exciting project, I strengthened the interpersonal skills required for a career in graphic design and built a recurring relationship with a client as we continue to grow her brand.
